Locked On Sharks
It’s Over, Now What?

Kyle, Erik, and JD have made it through this season! We debate if we’ve seen Patrick Marleau’s last game in teal, and then get into Doug Wilson’s end-of-the-year press conference and what it means for the San Jose Sharks’ summer (5:30). Then we get into Dylan Gambrell (10:00) and Martin Jones’s future (13:00), how Doug Wilson is going to approach the expansion draft (15:30), and if there are any untouchables on the current San Jose Sharks roster (21:30).

too bad MEV isn’t a “team first” kind of guy or he’d waive, knowing that Seattle is highly unlikely to draft him. that would allow the Sharks to protect Simek.

my GM moves for the off season. traded Donato for Lomberg (UFA 2022) and COL 5th rd pick for Driedger’s signing rights. Lomberg allows protection of Gambrell in expansion draft. signed Driedger to 3Mx3 deal (basically MJ’s first contract). signed UFA Paul Stastny to center the 3rd line (EH’s projection). re-signed Matt Nieto.
talked MEV into being a “team player” and temp waiving his NMC to protect Simek as well. re-signed Gambrell and most of the other pending RFA.
Pretty good, did you buy out Jones?
