TORONTO — Macklin Celebrini is injured.

Celebrini did not participate in the San Jose Sharks’ practice on Sunday afternoon at Coca-Cola Coliseum.

Head coach Ryan Warsofsky said Celebrini suffered a lower-body injury on Saturday at the Ottawa Senators. Celebrini played the entire game and notched a pair of assists, so it’s not clear when he got hurt.

Warsofsky considers Celebrini a game-time decision for the San Jose Sharks’ tilt at the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday night.

“I don’t think it’s serious,” Warsofsky said.

On the other hand, Warsofsky did rule out defenseman Henry Thrun for Monday’s game. Thrun also did not practice.

“Still being evaluated right now,” Warsofsky said, of Thrun’s upper-body day-to-day injury.

Thrun left Thursday’s 4-3 OT loss at the Montreal Canadiens twice.

The San Jose Sharks currently have just six healthy defensemen, all who did practice today.

Warsofsky was coy as to whether the Sharks would recall an insurance blueliner from the San Jose Barracuda.

He did confirm that Toronto-area native Jack Thompson would make his hometown NHL debut tomorrow.
