The San Jose Sharks have signed Cam Lund to a three-year entry-level contract, which starts this season.

The No. 34 pick of the 2022 Draft, Lund has enjoyed a productive career at Northeastern, registering 36 goals and 93 points in 107 games over three years.

Lund, 20, had his best season to date this year with 18 goals and 40 points, after 11 goals and 30 points in 2023-24 and seven goals and 23 points in his first year with the Huskies.

Northeastern’s season ended on Thursday, after a 4-3 double OT loss to Maine.

“Cam is a very talented player who brings speed, size, and skill to our group,” San Jose Sharks GM Mike Grier said in a team statement. “We’re excited to have him join the organization and look forward to watching him develop.”

The 6-foot-2 Massachusetts native profiles as a big scoring winger with middle-six potential at the higher levels.

He will be joining the San Jose Sharks in a few days, and is eligible to make his NHL debut too.

“He’s an exciting prospect with some really nice tools that we’re looking forward to seeing translate in the pro league,” Grier said about Cam Lund after the Trade Deadline.
