BREAKING: Sharks Select Artem Guryev

Published

on

The San Jose Sharks have drafted Artem Guryev.

Artem Guryev is a 6-foot-3 Russian defenseman who was scheduled to play for the Peterborough Petes this season. Guryev, however, didn’t get any games because of the cancellation of the OHL season.

The San Jose Sharks selected Guryev with the 135th pick in the fifth round.

The San Jose Sharks should make Guryev available to the media shortly.
