Preview/Lines #36: Gadjovich Looking to Keep Scoring on Brother-in-Law Martin
So who will Jonah Gadjovich’s wife Allison be cheering for in the San Jose Sharks-Vancouver Canucks match-up tonight?
It’s not that obvious: After all, Spencer Martin, the Canucks’ starting goaltender, is her older brother.
When asked about this conflict on Dec. 7, a 6-5 Sharks’ OT loss to the Canucks, Alli replied on Instagram, “It was a very confusing game for me haha!!”
Gadjovich happened to score his first goal of the season on his brother-in-law that night.

We could see a repeat tonight: Gadjovich told San Jose Hockey Now last week with a smile that he’s actually not stranger to scoring goals on Martin.
During the abbreviated 2020-21 AHL season, Gadjovich, then of the Utica Comets, played Martin, then of the Syracuse Crunch, four times and scored three goals on his brother-in-law.
There could be one more Gadjovich-Martin faceoff this season: The Sharks visit Vancouver again on Mar. 23.
