Sheng’s Daily: Imitation Is the Sincerest Form of Flattery
Face it, the San Jose Sharks aren’t signing Taylor Hall. And with their cap issues, they may need to dig really deep to get the help up front that they need.
So while names like Alex Galchenyuk, Wayne Simmonds, and Ilya Kovalchuk don’t move the needle like they used to, they’re the kind of bargains that San Jose will probably need to ferret out to return to the playoffs next year.
A couple scouts offered their thoughts about some of the potential bargain UFA forwards who might be available to the Sharks this off-season.
