Published

on

Radim Simek quickly rose up to a San Jose Sharks fan favorite, but injuries have derailed his career as he enters the last year of his four-year, $9 million contract. Could Simek be losing his job this off-season? I start by reviewing Radim Simek’s 2022-23 season and how Simek performed under David Quinn. Then I look at why Simek could be losing his job to players like Henry Thrun and/or Nikolai Knyzhov as Simek is about to start his age-31 season (10:00). Finally, what are some possible solutions for the San Jose Sharks and Simek, including transitioning Simek to the San Jose Barracuda (19:00).
