Published

on

KyleErik, and JD continue their quest to look at all the first-round possibilities for the San Jose Sharks by having on Brandon Holmes of FC Hockey to talk about Michigan forward Kent Johnson. We discuss Johnson’s statistical profile, what makes him so electric (6:00), and why he is the ultimate boom-or-bust prospect for the San Jose Sharks (12:00). We then get into his path to the NHL (20:30), defensive game (25:00), and we rank the Michigan prospects (28:30). We finish with some Thomas Bordeleau talk (33:00) and our normal blood questions.

the question for the Sharks in this entry draft seems to me to be a choice between: 1st pair D (Clarke), 2C (Beniers), or franchise/Vezina finalist goalie (Wallstedt) for their 1st round/top 10 pick. all of these other guys are long term projects. any of these guys could be chosen before the Sharks eventually pick, but at least 1 has a high likelihood of being there for them.
